Physical Properties

Detailed breakdown of calculated physicochemical properties.

This tool is useful for evaluating the physical properties of antibodies.

Accessing the Tool

Select at least one antibody in the Project View. Go to the Analysis menu and select Physical Properties. This will open the Physical Properties workspace in a new tab.

Physical Properties

Using the Tool

  • Isoelectric Point (pI): Theoretical pI calculation.
  • Ext Coeff: Extinction coefficient calculation.
  • % Ext Coeff: Percentage of extinction coefficient calculation.
  • Average Mass: Average mass of the antibody.
  • Monoisotopic Mass: Monoisotopic mass of the antibody.
  • GRAVY: Grand Average of Hydropathy (a measure of its overall hydrophobicity/hydrophilicity).
  • Export Excel: Exports the physical properties to an Excel file.
